Why Erie, Colorado Should Be Your Hometown

It is well known that Colorado is a wonderful place to move to. With the fantastic weather and easy access to the mountains it is no surprise that it has one of the fastest growing populations in the country. When deciding where to live in the state there are many great options, but in my biased opinion new residents should seriously consider Erie. The town encompasses many of the things that make Colorado so great. Miles of walking trails and mountain biking single track, multiple breweries and a cidery (for those out there who can't eat gluten). Erie is centralized within 25 minutes or less to multiple job hubs such as Boulder, Louisville, Longmont, Broomfield and Westminster. Further expansion in different industries is happening as well with Google building its campus in Boulder and IKEA planning their next store just south of Erie. When it comes to the town itself the amenities just keep getting better. Over the past few years the town has added a Community Center (Rec Center), skate park, sports complex, trails and even a velodrome (bicycle track racing). With these amenities and community events like the farmer's market and outdoor movie nights Erie has established itself as a great place to settle and thrive.
